Although the total number of fatalities charted being significantly higher than earlier projections, it likely fails to capture the entire scope of Palestinian casualties, according to the leader of the prisoners and detainees department.

“Even though we are offering documentation for a higher number of casualties than once estimated, this is not the entire story,” he stated. “We are confident that there are even now individuals who lost their lives in confinement that we don’t know about.”

Non-Combatant Fatalities
